Do you remember blowing bubbles or going down the slide?
Do you remember the time you lied?
Do you remember me saying sorry why couldn't you just accept my apology.
Do you remember when we celebrated Hanukkah at your house?
When I walk by you in the halls do you stop and remember?

No because you have put me in the back of your mind you threw our friendship in the trash.
All the times I spent crying you wouldn't care, who said life was fair.
Do you remember when we played dress up,told stories, had sleepovers or were friends?
No because to you that was then and this is now.

You probably don't care that is still hurts.
Why did you treat me like dirt?
Now i'm just falling
                     falling
                             falling
                                         drowning
                                         drowning
                                         drowning.
I can't breathe and I can't get out you seem to have destroyed me.

NO NO NO NO NO I can find my way out for you made me strong.
So now i'm looking for an exit haven't found it yet but it's close.
They say the more it hurts the closer you are to healing I hope that's true.
Do you remember?
Remember
         Remember
                  Remember us

It does not matter for you and I are dust.
This about a friend that really hurt me.

(I've had something like this happen to me.)
I guess you just have to realize that those memories still happened, and the fact that you aren't friends anymore doesn't change that.it doesn't change the memories either. It's perfecly okay to look back and say "that was a fun time"! You shouldn't let your changed perspective of the person affect how you feel about yourself or your past. It might hurt that the other person doesn't want to acknowledge this, but that's their problem. People change, and it might help to look at the person as more of a stranger.

Apologies for the long comment, it might not even be relevant.
